Michael T. Goodman is a marketing and communications professional based in Portland, Oregon. Over the past 15 years, through full-time roles and consulting work, Michael has created marketing plans and content, produced events, driven social media strategy, shaped brand architecture, and built online and offline communities for some of the world’s most valuable brands.
Michael was the Brand Marketing Manager at Nike, Inc., overseeing the brand vision and strategy, creative direction, cross-functional collaborations, paid media, online/offline partnerships, influencers, events and all brand campaign work for Nike Lacrosse & Nike N7. Prior to Nike, Inc. he spent two years getting a Master’s degree in Psychology while working part-time to pay for school. Before that he led community based events for the American Cancer Society in seven distinct communities across the state of Oregon.
A native of Elmhurst, Illinois, Michael cut his teeth in the digital and technology world designing tailored, technology solutions for clients nationwide for CDW, Inc. before moving to the west coast.
Michael is a fan of good movies and great music with equal enthusiasm, and when he’s not at a show, you’ll find him outside skiing, camping, running, hiking, and playing soccer or basketball. Michael has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics Management from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Lewis & Clark College.
